Subtiele variaties in toon en textuur: Stelt u zich de unieke nerfpatronen van fijn hardhout voor. Dat is het soort natuurlijke karakter dat u krijgt met volnerfleer.

Groeistrepen en kleine littekens: Dit zijn geen onvolkomenheden, maar het bewijs van een echte kwaliteitshuid. Ze vertellen een verhaal en geven het leer meer diepte.

Gelijkmatige kleur aan de suède kant: Dit laat zien dat de kleurstof diep is doorgedrongen, waardoor een rijke, blijvende kleur wordt gegarandeerd.

Opvallende kleurvariaties: Elk stuk is uniek, dus verwacht kleine verschillen, zelfs binnen dezelfde partij. Zie het als deel van de charme!

Zij zijn Sterker. Volnerfleer heeft een grotere treksterkte en zal minder snel "plassen" dan leer dat de oppervlaktelagen verloren heeft.

Zij zijn soepeler. Volnerfleer is natuurlijk, soepel en ligt stevig in de hand.

Zij zijn langer meegaand. Volnerfleer, dat al zijn natuurlijke eigenschappen intact heeft, ademt en behoudt een hoog vochtgehalte en een goede PH-balans.

Ze zijn meer comfortabel. Volnerfleer ademt en ventileert lichaamswarmte weg van het lichaam, waardoor het koel en comfortabel blijft in de zomer en niet koud en stijf wordt in de winter.

Ze zijn meer prachtig. Volnerfleer dat van grondstoffen van de hoogste kwaliteit is gemaakt, heeft een diepe kleur.

The distinction between Full Grain and Corrected Grain leather lies in how the top surface of the hide is treated, which affects its appearance, durability, and aging process.

CORRECTED GRAIN

Corrected Grain leather is made from hides that have surface imperfections (scars, blemishes). These hides are processed to create a uniform, blemish-free surface.

FULL GRAIN

Full Grain leather is considered the finest grade because it is untouched—the natural surface grain remains fully intact.

BUFFED GRAIN = NUBUCK

Nubuck is a type of leather that takes corrected grain leather to a whole new level. It is crafted through a gentle sanding process that gives it a velvety-soft texture, creating an incredibly luxurious feel against the skin. This treatment not only enhances its tactile quality but also results in a material that showcases subtle variations in color and tone, adding depth and character.

SUEDE

Split leather suede offers a distinctive and appealing texture, making it a favorite for soft-touch upholstery, garments, and accessories.
Unlike Full Grain leather, which uses the tough, outermost layer of the hide, Split Leather is created from the lower, fibrous interior layers after the top grain has been separated. This process yields a material with a naturally coarse surface that, when heavily buffed and sanded, transforms into the famously soft, napped texture we know as Suède.
